FAQ

Q. I would like to visit your kennels before booking, when can I visit?

A. We welcome visitors 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm by appointment only.

Q. What do you charge per day?

A. Our charges vary depending on size of dog and length of stay. You will find most charges on our booking form. We charge €12 a day for a cat and €10 per day for small animals. If you need to check please phone or email KuFinnka. We will quote for pets from same home sharing or for long stays.

Q. Do accept credit/debit cards

A. No, as we are a small business it is not viable. We do accept payment by cheques or cash.

Q. Are you open on Sundays?

A.  Yes, we are open on Sundays, same times as Monday to Saturday. However we are closed for drop offs/collections on 24th, 25th & 26th December & 1st January.

Q. How soon should I make my booking?

A. As soon as possible as we are a small kennels and places are limited.

Q. Do you require a deposit?

A. We do require a deposit of 50%.

Q. Do I need to bring my pets bed?

A. Not really, we supply both beds and veterinary bedding. It is advisable however that you bring an old jumper or sweatshirt which your scent is on. This does help the dog/s relax.

You can of course bring your own bed/blankets, however we do not accept any responsibility for damage or loss.

Q. Do I bring my own food?

A. We do try to stock most brands of dog food but as there are so many we may not stock your preferred brand. Please complete the section on the booking form regarding this. We do not stock or supply special prescription foods, sorry!

Q. Do you take small animals?

A. Yes, we have facilities for rabbits, guinea pigs, pet rats and other small animals.

Q. Do you walk the dogs?

A. In general we do not take the dogs out on the road to walk as there can be a lot of traffic. We take the dogs out into our playgrounds where they are given plenty of exercise and interaction with us! We have four large paddocks where we play with our guests, and ALWAYS under supervision.

Q. Do you allow dogs from other families to play with my dog/s?

A. A definite NO! We know from bad experiences at other kennels this is always an accident waiting to happen.
